“Mike Huckabee Is The Bestest Republican Ever” Watch

Now this is actually what I’ve been talking about when discussing my conviction that Huckabee will win the crackpot party’s nomination:

Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee told South Carolina voters Thursday that the government had no business making decisions over the Confederate flag.

“You don’t like people from outside the state coming in and telling you what to do with your flag,” Huckabee said at a Myrtle Beach campaign event. “In fact, if somebody came to Arkansas and told us what to do with our flag, we’d tell them what to do with the pole, that’s what we’d do.”

How is this Confederacy-loving Southerner not going to win South Carolina against a guy who (as far as racist and uninformed South Carolinians believe because Bush told them so eight years ago) has an illegitimate black baby?

Oh yeah, and here’s this other gem from earlier today:

“Well, I don’t think that’s a radical view to say we’re going to affirm marriage. I think the radical view is to say that we’re going to change the definition of marriage so that it can mean two men, two women, a man and three women, a man and a child, a man and animal. Again, once we change the definition, the door is open to change it again. I think the radical position is to make a change in what’s been historic.”

Huckabee can’t lose.

Hmm, there definitely should be a joke in there somewhere about Huck’s hatred of the gays in comparison to his implied love for sodomizing people with a flagpole, but I can’t seem to find the right punchline…
